Competition Hike – 8th May 2010

Join our Region Chief Commissioner and her deputies as they take part in our annual competition hike. This event is for Brownies, Guides, Senior Section, Leaders and Trefoil Guild and futher details are on the Events & trainings page.

Banner Service – 9th May 2010, 3pm at RAF Halton

Our Region Commissioner is hoping to join us at this special Bucks event. Let’s aim to have every banner in the county at Halton – if your District or Division doesn’t have one there is still time for it to be made and dedicated at our special centenary service.

Garden Party – 20th June 2010

By kind permission of Mr and Mrs C Prideaux, dresses and hats will be the order of the day for our own Centenary Garden Party for Leaders and Trefoil Guild members.

Gig in a Field - 2nd - 4th July 2010, Grange Farm, Wansford, near Peterborough

Gig in a Field, July 2010, near PeterboroughA spectacular music festival with a lot more than just live music! There'll be stand up comedy, karaoke, circus skills workshops, pub quiz, raft building, human table football, bungee running, sumo wrestling, bouncy castle, disco, and much, much more! Off-road driving, archery, and rifle shooting will also be provided at additional cost.

Open to any member of Girlguiding Anglia aged 13+ (Guides, Senior Section and adult members) Further information is available on the Anglia website.

Brownie Day – 10th July 2010 at Green Park

Trefoil Guild members – enjoy a weekend of fun and memories as our Trefoil Guild members celebrate the centenary.

Bucks100 Fest – 1st-4th August 2010 at Chalfont Heights

Planning is now well under way for this event of the year! We hope you will all be there to celebrate the Centenary of Guiding in style. Groups can be of any size from very small to Division or District groups, all we need to know is how many! It is not necessary for Guiders to hold a campers licence, training will be available at Inspire and groups can be paired with experienced Guiders on the site. The camp fee (not including any food or travel) will be £60 for young people and £30 for adults. Booking for places is now open. Application forms are available from the County Office and on the website: www.bucks100fest.org.uk. Hurry and fill in the form to register your Unit's interest or there are lots of opportunities for adults to help as well, complete the "helper" register your interest form.

Centenary Finale

Take part in a centenary finale in your District or Division. The plan is that everyone in the UK will celebrate at the same time and renew their promise at 20:10 on 20/10/2010. Could you help plan this event for your area? Let your Commissioner know!
