Aylesbury Rangers take part in the Sun Run July 2009

Sarah Evans, Abi Clemmett and Amy Tunstall of Aylesbury Rangers brought home the 17 and under, all female group, prize for the 13.1 mile Moon Run. The girls completed the half marathon in 3 hours, 1 minute and 47 seconds, without training!

The Sun Run weekend kicked off on Friday 3rd July 2009 with a toga party in the barn, the Moon Run started at 7:30pm on the Saturday and finally finishing on Sunday with the presentations, where the girls collected their prize.

The girls were ‘unaware, until our names were called out’ and ran to the stage in complete excitement, they were overwhelmed about winning the prize and can’t wait until next year's race!
