My Guiding Light Challenge Badge

Earlier this year, Sheila and I set ourselves a challenge to visit as many units, districts and divisions as we could to renew our promise. This was part of the Promise Challenge Badge. Sheila and I would now like to challenge you to keep our Guiding lights burning.

There are three sections to this badge: Indoor Guiding Lights, Outdoor Guiding Lights and Inspirational Guiding Lights. In order to achieve this badge you will need to complete the following;

  • Rainbows should complete 1 activity from each section;
  • Brownies should complete 2 activities from each section;
  • Guides should complete 2 from each section plus one more;
  • Rangers, Young Leaders and adults should complete 2 from each section plus an additional 2.

This challenge is open to all members and can be completed as part of a unit, at home and can be completed virtually.

Sheila and I love to see what units are getting up to so, leaders, please do post photos on our Leaders Facebook page.

Details of how to order this badge can be found on the back page of the challenge pack or you can order online below. Proceeds will go towards supporting individuals, units, districts or divisions who need financial support when we return to Face to Face Guiding.

Lastly, have fun and keep our Guiding Lights burning.

Karen and Sheila.
